A warming herbal ritual for the sacred window after birth.
Postpartum is a thoughtfully crafted yoni steam blend created to support women as they rest, restore, and reconnect in the tender weeks after birth.
Rooted in traditional postpartum care practices, this blend brings together gently cleansing and toning herbs that have long been used to encourage uterine recovery, promote healthy circulation, and support the body’s natural healing process after delivery. The warmth of steam invites blood flow to the pelvic bowl, while the aromatic plants offer comfort, grounding, and care during this sacred threshold.
This is a ritual of slowing down — of tending the womb space with reverence.
Approximately 2 oz
Enough for about 5 steams.
Calendula
Traditionally valued for its cleansing and skin-supportive qualities. Calendula is a gentle, nourishing flower often used in postpartum preparations.
Nettle
A mineral-rich herb long used in folk traditions to support overall vitality and replenish the body after birth.
Red Raspberry Leaf
Traditionally used to tone and support the uterus, red raspberry leaf is a foundational women’s herb during the childbearing years.
Rose Petals
Soft, soothing, and heart-centered. Rose is traditionally used to comfort delicate tissues and bring gentle astringency and emotional warmth to postpartum care.
Lemon
Bright and clarifying, lemon adds freshness to the blend and has been traditionally used to support cleansing rituals.
Pour roughly 6 cups of freshly boiled water over 4 tablespoons of herbs.
Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
Remove the cover and carefully position yourself so the steam comfortably rises to your yoni and lower abdomen. Wrap a blanket around your lower half to help trap the steam. Steam for as long as feels supportive, or until the water cools.
Yoni steaming can be done using a dedicated steam stool, placing herbs in a heat-safe bowl inside the toilet bowl, hovering over a ceramic bowl, or creating a safe DIY setup at home. Always ensure the steam is warm — never hot — to prevent burns.
These herbs may also be prepared as a sitz bath.
Traditionally, some women begin steaming around day 3 postpartum if there are no complications and continue regularly during the first 30 days. Always listen to your body and consult your trusted care provider if you have concerns, heavy bleeding, or complications.
Crafted in small batches with organic herbs and deep intention.
A ritual of warmth, circulation, and gentle restoration — honoring the sacred healing window after birth.
